The client wanted to create a space that reflected their young daughter’s unique personality—one that wasn’t your typical pink and princess theme. The little girl loves blue, cars, and space, but still enjoys a touch of girly charm. The challenge was to infuse those elements into a room that would grow with her and feel both playful and meaningful.
Result
We designed a room that perfectly reflects her fun and adventurous spirit. A custom wood jeep bed became the focal point, adding a playful and functional element to the space. The walls were painted in Sherwin Williams Peacock Plume, a rich jewel-toned blue that feels timeless and will grow with her over the years.
A soft shag rug was chosen for comfort and playability, ideal for her cars and trains. We incorporated a mix of family heirloom artwork along with a custom commissioned piece to give the room a personal and meaningful touch.
Beneath the bay window, we created a cozy nook with floor mattresses for lounging with her dogs or snuggling with her stuffed animals. Above the bed, a moonlight fixture adds a whimsical touch and creates a calming ambiance, perfectly fitting for a little one who loves space.
