Client Prompt

Following the success of the Tempo Hilton project and the development of the fictional muse Mary Louise, we were invited to craft a distinctive holiday identity for the hotel. The goal was to design a temporary installation that felt like stepping into Mary Louise’s imagined world during the holidays—an elegant, upscale holiday soiree steeped in her personality and the brand’s aesthetic. The design needed to be luxurious and immersive, incorporating the hotel’s signature colors while capturing the warmth and sophistication of an intimate holiday gathering.

Result

The result was Mary Louise’s Holiday Soirée, a stunning installation that transformed the hotel into a festive yet refined wonderland. The centerpiece of the design was a towering 14-foot tree, adorned with intricate bauble ornaments that shimmered in the hotel’s brand colors, creating a cohesive and glamorous focal point. Guests were greeted by a breathtaking entryway featuring garland archways dripping with ornate icicles and ornaments, setting the tone for the experience.

The highlight of the space was a dramatic hallway lined with cascading garland arches, creating a sense of wonder and anticipation as guests moved through the space. Every detail, from the shimmering ornaments to the softly glowing lights, was designed to evoke the feeling of being invited into Mary Louise’s home for an opulent holiday gathering. The installation struck the perfect balance between elegance and whimsy, immersing visitors in the fictional narrative while making the holiday season feel utterly magical.
